Position Profile:

  • Hauling dry van and reefer freight
  • Edmonton-based Driver - Wednesday to Sunday, departing Wednesday between 1000 to 1200
  • Edmonton to Terrace, B.C. and return, one trip per week
  • Calgary-based Driver - Tuesday to Saturday, departing Tuesday between 1500 to 1700
  • Calgary to Terrace, B.C. and return, one trip per week
  • There will be potential drops in Edmonton, Edson, Hinton, Whitecourt and Grande Prairie as required
  • From Terrace you will be running regional work through B.C., Alberta or Saskatchewan until the end of your 5 day schedule
  • Overnight trips required- might be away from home up to four nights during weekly schedule
  • Earning a combination of mileage and drops
  • Additional work might be available upon request
  • Average of 2,500 miles per week
  • AB/BC agreement applies

Candidate Profile:

  • Company Driver or owner-operator with tractor-trailer experience
  • Based in Edmonton or Calgary areas
  • Valid Class 1/AZ Licence is required
  • Must be willing to drive Highway 1 and Highway 3 in B.C.
  • Must be willing to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
